During the darkest days of worldwide shutdowns, when the lights were out and the doors were locked just about everywhere but the grocery store, a lot of us were experimenting a bit. While The Chord was on pause in order to figure out how to shift away from the planned launch of a biweekly print publication, ceramicist Diana Farfan experimented with a the above digital pieces that captured the mood of the time.
The Chord became a temporary publication, Unlockd, which similarly tried to capture the art being made in real time. Stellar home concerts, heartwarming digital design, new sculpture and and well-curated exhibitions were featured in three quick editions. Diana kindly submitted her masks.
