The
The Chord is a space for deep conversation, contemplation, and celebration of how visual and performing arts are made and received today. It's a place for the unsatisfied, who believe the quality can be higher, the discussion richer, the substance more impactful.

The focus is regional: Georgia, North Carolina and South Carolina. The perspective is global.
A mix of conversations, essays, virtual and live events brings together makers, presenters, patrons, cultural producers and thinkers: all of us who make up the circle that is the arts community.
The Chord emphasize process over product. But, I do love a great product.

All published conversations are edited for clarity and readability.
Believe me, it's better that way.
